How to lock on the flag instead of anything behind it? Switch to Mode 2, aim near the flag, hold the power button, then center on the flagpole until vibration. Successful lock is confirmed by a circle around the flag icon.

What's the difference between the white one and the black one? The major difference is that the black one features horizontal distance calculation that can be used for shooting a gun or bow.

Why doesn't this device provide any distance reading? Please avoid measuring objects through a window, as the laser will not penetrate glass.

Can you turn off the slope function in tournament play? The GS24 MTL version allows you to turn off the slope function, making it tournament legal.
